History

Bintech was formed by Michael Bindon in 1993 with one agency and now represents 12 international companies. It is dedicated to supplying quality innovative products and, most importantly, personal service to its customers.

Bintech combines technical backup with the ability to adapt products to a client’s specific needs. It is recognised as a preferred supplier for level control products to the oil and gas, LPG and diesel industries.

Manufacturing

Under the Bintel name, Bintech manufactures:

BI-2000 Direct mount level sensor approved for AUS Ex Zone 0
BI-1030 Indicator remote display unit approved AUS Ex Zone 1
BI-1240 Power supply and indicator for safe area use
BI-ARV Level sensors for diesel, chemical and other liquid tanks.
BI-4000 Overfill alarms.
BI-5000 Telemetry system
Our LPG tank gauging system comprising BI-2000, BI-1030 and BI-1240 is industry standard for the major oil companies – BP, Mobil, Shell, Woolworths, Kleenheat, etc. In 2004, Bintech completed a project for BP with 106 systems supplied.

Areas of Specialisation.

Bintech offers level measurement devices from 7 different suppliers and 5 different technologies. This enables us to provide the best possible solution to a client’s measurement application or problem.

Bintech designed and manufactured 2 completely new instruments in 2005 – an overfill alarm and a
low cost pump controller.

On-site commissioning and telephone assistance as well as workshop repair, servicing and calibration of our instrumentation can be provided.

The provision of technical support and advice to customers, custom built products as well as problem
solving are important features of Bintech’s business.

Bintech prides itself on its personalised service and attention to detail along with a working knowledge of
each client and their particular requirements.
