History

Bintech was formed by Michael Bindon in 1993 with one agency and now represents many international companies as well as manufacturing a range of products under the Bintel brand. It is dedicated to supplying quality innovative products and most importantly, personal service to its customers.
Bintech combines technical backup with the ability to adapt products to a client's specific needs. It is recognised as a preferred supplier for level and flow control products to the oil and gas, fuel distribution and water associated industries.

Sales Team

Mike Bindon - Managing Director

Michael Bindon, Managing Director, founded Bintech in August 1993. He has over twenty years sales and marketing experience with specialised level and control equipment. His role is sales and marketing as well as technical queries and problems.

George Benca - National Sales Manager

George joined Bintech in 2008 with extensive experience in process control instrumentation, including flow, temperature, pressure and level measurement. His major role is sales, especially interstate sales development.

Andy Singh - Internal Sales Engineer

Andy joined Bintech in 2010 and is responsible for telephone enquiries, quoting, technical queries and problems.

Administration Team

Maree Thomson - Administration Manager

Maree has worked with Mike Bindon since the beginning of Bintech. Maree provides administrative and planning support as well as quoting and telephone sales. She is responsible for ISO 9001 and OD005 certification for the Intrinsically Safe product range.

Linda Martin - Projects, Major Accounts, Sales and Administration Manager

Linda joined Bintech in 2001. She works with major projects where her product knowledge, organisational skills and attention to detail are assets. She also assists Maree with QMS Auditing.

Jill Pope - Accounts and Payroll

Jill is responsible for the financial side of Bintech.

Gayle Linsell - Administration Support

Paul Jenkins - Technical & Manufacturing Manager

Paul has extensive experience in Electronics, Laboratory and Micro-controller board design, software development, mechanical design. Novel solutions to a problem are his speciality.

Mitch Taylor - Instrument Technician

Mitch is responsible for the manufacturing and testing of Bintech/Bintel designed products.

Gary Burke - Workshop (Manufacturing) Assistant

Gary works with Mitch.

BI-ARV Level sensors for diesel, chemical and other liquid tanks
BI-4000 Overfill alarms for IS and non-IS applications

Our LPG tank gauging system comprising BI-2000, BI-1030
and BI-1240 is industry standard for the major oil companies –
BP, Mobil, Shell, Woolworths, Kleenheat, etc. Bintech completed a
project for BP with 106 systems supplied when they upgraded
their sites.
